Here I will tell you about 3ds max 3d model dice studio tutorial.
I have used following techniques in this 3ds max tutorial.
Editable poly Modeling techniques

[1]-First of all you will press (ctrl +N) now you will see the new window is open
Click on the Geometry > Extended primitives > Chamfer Box and use the following setting
Create a Chamfer Box in the top view

[2]-Your image should like this in the four view port

[3]-Select the Chamfer Box right click and select the Editable poly
Then select the Polygon mode in the Editable poly

[4]-Makes a selections like this in the left, top, and front view

Click on the Geometry > Extended primitives > Capsule and use the following setting
Create a Chamfer Box in the front view and set like this in the left view

[1]-First of all you will press (ctrl +N) now you will see the new window is open
Click on the Geometry > Standard primitives > Cone and use the following setting
Create a Cone in the left view set like this in the front view
