Here I will show you about 3dsmax 3dmodel lava effect studio tutorial.
I have used following techniques in this 3ds max tutorial.
How to create a nice Lava effect with help of Fire effect
[1]-First of all you will press (ctrl +N) now you will see the new window is open
Click on the Geometry > Extended primitives > Ring Wave and use the following setting
Create a Ring Wave in the top view and set like this in the Perspective view
[2]-Open the Material window and click on the diffuse map button
Then select the Cellular map and use the following setting
[3]-Then click on the Opacity Map button and select the Gradient map
And use the following setting
Your material should like this
[4]-Now click on the Helper > Atmospheric Apparatus > Sphere Gizmo
Use the following setting create a sphere gizmo like this in the front view
[5]-Select the Sphere gizmo then click on the (add) Button and select the (Fire effect)
Then click on the (Setup Button)
[6]-You will see the Fire Parameter is open then
Use the following setting
[7]-Now set the camera like this in the front view
[8]-Press (F9) you will see the final image is ready
Save the file in your folder
