Here I will show you about 3dsmax 3dmodel shiny ipod studio tutorial.
I have used following techniques in this 3ds max tutorial.
Editable poly and Boolean techniques

[1]-First of all you will press (ctrl +N) now you will see the new window is open
Click on the Geometry > Extended primitives > Chamfer Box and use the following setting
Create a cylinder in the Front view

[2]-Select the Chamfer Box right click Convert into Editable poly then select Element mode in the Editable poly
And make a selection like this image as shown below

[3]-Open the Material window and make a material like this and assign to the selection

[4]-Select the polygon mode in the Editable poly and make the selection like this
Click on the (Image-10) Extrude button you will see the Extrude polygon window is open
Use the following setting

[5]-Select the polygon mode in the Editable poly and make the selection like this
Open the Material window and make a material like this and assign to the selection

[6]-Select the polygon mode in the Editable poly and make the selection like this
Open the Material window and Import a Jpg like this and assign to the selection

[7]-Use the following setting create a cylinder in the front view like this image as shown below

[8]-Use the following setting creates a Box and click on the (image-21) Mirror button in the main toolbar
You will see the mirror window is open use the following setting
Now set the box like this in the front view

[9]-Now select the Cylinder click on the Geometry > Compound Object > Boolean > Pick Operand B
Then click on the Box and same treatment for second box

[10]-Now your image should like this in the front view

[11]-Click on the Line button and create a shape like this
Apply the Extrude modifier

[12]-Now click on the Text Button and write a text (Menu) the apply the Extrude Modifier

[13]-Now set the text and lines like this in the front view

[14]-Open material window then open the map palette and put the (Retrace) in the refraction option
Open the (Retrace) Parameters and use the following setting

[15]-After use the following setting you will see the final is ready
Save the file in your folder
