Friday, September 5th, 2008Here I will tell you about 3dsmax 3dmodel publicity board studio tutorial.
I have used following techniques in this 3ds max tutorial.
Boolean and Editable poly techniques
[1]-First of all you will press (ctrl +N) now you will see the new window is open
Click on the Geometry > Standard primitives > Box and use the following setting
Create a Box in the top view and set like this in the front view

[2]-Select the Box right click Convert into Editable poly then select Polygon mode in the Editable poly
And make a selection like this in the left view

[3]-Now click on the Extrude button you will see the Extrude Polygons palette is open
Use the following setting your object should like this in the perspective view

[4]-select Element mode in the Editable poly
And make a selection like this in the front view
Assign the material like this

[5]-Select Polygon mode in the Editable poly
And make a selection like this in the left view
Assign the Map like this

[6]-Use the following setting create a cylinder like this in the top view
Set like this in the Front view

[7]-Select the cylinder drag it and release you will see
The clone option window is open then uses the following setting
Your image should like this in the front view

[8]-Use the following setting create a cylinder like this in the top view
Set like this in the front view
Now apply the bend Modifier and use the following setting

[10]-Again use the following setting create a cylinder like this
Select the cylinder drag it and release you will see
The clone option window is open then uses the following setting

[11]-Select the One cylinder then click on the Boolean > Pick Operand B
Click like this now your object should like this

[12]-Select the object drag it and release you will see
The clone option window is open then uses the following setting

[13]-Click on the (Target Spot) light and set the light like this in the left view
![]()
[14]-After add the (Target Spot) light you will see the final is ready
Save the file in your folder
